needed an affordable and dignified way to deal with the loss of a pet. After suffering the loss
of their own pet it became apparent to our founders that few, if any, industry standards and laws
were in existence to protect pet owners from being overcharged and sold services and products
that were unnecessary.
Because it is becoming increasingly more common for pet owners to want to continue to treat their
pets as individuals and insist on dignified afterlife services as you would any family member.
There should be a service options for you to choose. Many people cannot emotionally handle the
thought of leaving their pet at a veterinary clinic, to be disposed of by the city or overcharged
for services that they did not need. They may see backyard burial as a viable alternative; however
this is not a viable option for urban residences and is not recommended for the following reasons:
- Possibility of relocation
- City code may prohibit such action
- Emotional stress involved
- Environmental concerns
